I have an appreciation for the beauty of the world around me. Whether it is floral, farms, fields, or landscapes, there is beauty in color and light. I paint many of my paintings from life allowing me to see the subtlety and wonder in the sunlit sunflower, the softness of the light on the river or children discovering a lovely seashell. It is a truly emotional and humbling experience.
